With Number Porting, TraiTel contacts your existing provider, and requests that your number be moved over to us.
So what happens to my account with my current provider?
It gets cancelled! Once your port is complete, your number will be on your account with TraiTel, and you will no longer have to pay your current provider.
Sounds good... what's the catch?
It takes a long time to go through, number porting takes 4-6 weeks. In the meantime though, you can simply divert your current number to your TraiTel number, using *21
How much does number porting cost?
Nothing. Number porting is completely free.
